Hallingdal Næringshage goals
‘To encourage knowledgeable professionals into the Hallingdal region, by creating an attractive working environment’.
The Hallingdal Næringshage is a ‘business garden’, whose core purpose is to facilitate the establishment of knowledge based activities in Hallingdal, a rural area in the county of Buskerud.
The region of Hallingdal contains 6 municipals (local village and town sized districts) and they are as follows: Hol, Ål, Hemsedal, Gol, Nes and Flå. The Hallingdal Næringshage is centrally located in the municipal of Gol, approximately 2.5 hours from both Oslo and Bergen.
Our main task is to create and maintain an appropriate environment for dedicated young professionals with higher educations. We also provide comprehensive support to those who wish to establish new businesses, through the use of both our national network and extensive local knowledge.
In this way we can create new business activity and maintain our growth in Hallingdal.
Our key elements and activities are within: Networking The social and physical environment The recruitment of key personnel The lowering of business running cost’s to SME’s (small to medium sized enterprises) Maintaining a high visible profile on behalf of, and for, all the ‘in house’ SME’s
Fundamental principles of the Hallingdal Næringshage: 1. All SME’s are co-located together in a modern purpose built office building, with attractive modern facilities. Currently there are 30 company’s housed collectively. 2. A dedicated team provide complete service and support with a high focus on the total working environment. 3. Both the attractive physical environment of Hallingdal, and great social working environment, shall enable businesses to work effectively either independently or collectively in a professional and social atmosphere.
